Parkland II
We are blessed and thankful to have been brought back for round three of four at this charming Parkland residence. After renovating both the basement and main floor of this three storey home, our client was ready to tackle their upper level and we couldn’t have been more excited to see their interior fully complete.
SIZE – 720 Sq.Ft
AREA – Upper Floor
The design characteristics of this client are always refreshingly unique, and their ideas for this final phase were no exception. Their love for heritage shines through every detail, from velvety maple cabinetry, to brass patina hardware, curling florette medallions, sweeping mouldings, one-of-a-kind local stained glass accents…and the list continues! Our in-house Cabinet Maker was put to the test with this intensive custom millwork scope, featuring a new-but-looks-old wardrobe and built-in vanity, recessed archway wall niches (with hidden doors!), and the elegant L-shaped vanity, all situated within this freshly constructed upper master addition.
The kitchen and dining areas continued on this theme of quaint hospitality with an added personal touch: their palette grew from the client’s collection of traditional Danish tableware. The result is a pleasingly contemporary yet classic combination of blue and white combined with rich wood tones, reminiscent of evenings spent together around the dining room table waiting for that fresh holiday pie to arrive from the oven topped with melting ice cream.
The collected vintage atmosphere of this home is nothing short of beautiful, and we cannot wait to bring this interior palette to the exterior of their home to complete all the years of love and work – stay tuned!
