Neil has been working in the construction industry since he was 17 years young. His passion for planning and building has flourished since adding his journeyman carpentry savvy to our company in 1999. Now General Manager, Neil spends his time working with clients past and present, crunching budget numbers, and directing his creative juices toward growing the business. When he’s not at work, chances are he’s creating projects to do around the house and inviting his brilliant wife & two kiddos to join in. (He doesn’t sleep much.) Always up for new experiences and adventure, Neil has been diving with Great White sharks, loves to travel - via plane, bike, board, scuba suit, camper ..... or book, if he can’t leave the country - and will never pass up a chance to spar with you in the boxing ring.

Daryl is known to our team as "The Orchestrator", managing our construction sites as well as our Site Lead Carpenters. Since joining our team in 2001, he has become a Journeyman Carpenter and our renaissance man when it comes to construction. He can handle everything from scheduling and supervision to taking care of the finest touch-ups.

When he’s not busy juggling construction jobs he is keeping active. Whether he’s boxing, mountain biking, training at his local gym or chasing his dogs with his beautiful wife, Daryl is moving, motivating, and likely making someone sore the next day (just ask his fellow rugby mates from years past). Whatever the activity, Daryl is sure to put his heart into everything he does.

Lindsey is an Interior Designer and mom to two small kids who has been a member of our LD&A team since 2008. Growing up, Lindsey always took an interest in art and knew early on that she would be happiest in a creative profession. Just try to throw any creative ball her way - she will not only catch it, but transform it into something truly beautiful before throwing it back to you.
As the Senior Designer at LD&A, Lindsey is responsible for generating and working through design details alongside her teammates and clients to design and build unique, inspired spaces. Although she’s known for being calm & composed, her quick sense of humor should also not be underestimated!

If you catch Lindsey outside of the office, she is most likely working away on her garden, doing art with her kids, or planning ways to beautify her home with her also-creatively-talented husband.

"There’s something about Mira", a phrase coined from a film filled with humour as wonderful and sparkling as our Mira’s own personality. Despite starting her work-life as a dishwasher in her family’s restaurants (multitasking and stress management are peanuts to her now as a result!) and dreaming of becoming a teacher, she instead found herself answering the call of her love of numbers to complete her training as an Internal Accountant. Mira has been leading our Finance team since the spring of 2019.

Descending from a large Italian family, Mira was born in, has traveled to, and dearly loves Italy. There she is able to put her Italian language skills and love of art, history, and politics to use. Her life in Calgary allows her to experience the other loves of life, namely football (NFL Sundays are sacred and not to be disturbed) and hockey, reading, and spending time with her incredible husband, their two children, and two grand-dogs.

Who could have guessed that Jenna would become an Interior Designer?? Despite first completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in her hometown in beautiful British Columbia, she gradually determined that she was meant to design and found herself with a Bachelor of Interior Design from MRU that led her to LD&A in the autumn of 2019. Inspired by beauty and happiness in everything, she loves ensuring that clients’ dreams are realized to their fullest extent.

Despite being an adult, the days of entertaining strangers in the grocery store with funny faces (much to her mother’s dismay) have not disappeared, so be prepared for lots of warmth and laughter greeting you at every turn. When not drawing, playing piano, or running after her adorable man and two crazy cats, you can find Jenna upside down on floors and poles as she climbs (literally and figuratively) through her pole fitness levels!

Tyler is a skilled Site Lead who has been a Journeyman Carpenter since 2007 and with our team since 2016. Tyler’s many years of experience and superb attention to detail are perfectly suited to the world of fine carpentry. His artistic talents extend far beyond construction, making him a true renaissance man (he’s a musician, a custom guitar maker, a gardener, outdoorsman, and a certified yoga instructor!) His favorite part of the job is working with the team through the challenges on a project to see it through to the final finishing touches of the design.

He also applies his balance of calm, creativity, and coaching savvy when raising his darling daughter, along with his wonderful yoga-instructing wife. Tyler is a true pleasure to have on any project, and on our team.

Travis is a football-loving Journeyman Carpenter and accomplished Site Lead. He is quietly confident, always hard-working, and we have been counting on him to tackle the challenges that can blindside a renovation since he was drafted to our team in 2012. If you have Travis leading your project, count yourself lucky...and be ready to compare notes on the latest NFL stats!
His favorite part of his work is client appreciation, and their reactions to the hard work that is put in to create the finished product. Seeing how we have helped make their lives a little easier by transforming their homes is truly gratifying (and a few homemade goodies never hurt either, hint, hint). When he’s not skillfully swinging a hammer, Travis can be found with his stunning wife and baby girl, and, if there happens to be a quiet moment between diaper changes.... practicing his Xbox football skills. We are all grateful to have Travis quarterbacking our projects.

Since 2014, Sean has been gracing us with his strong-silent presence as a talented and industrious Site Lead. His dedication to the role stems from his earliest years, stretching back so far he can’t even think of a time when he didn’t want to be a carpenter! This love of his trade shines through in every task he completes with precision and care. Sean’s favorite part of his job is knowing that at the end of the day with the efforts he puts in, he has changed something for the better.
Sports play an important role in Sean’s outside-of-work persona, with golf and soccer being awarded the highest honours in his books. In addition to athletics, movies and trips abroad are at the top of his “favorite things” list, though none are quite so important to him as his beautiful family. Sean enjoys spending his best quality time with his amazing wife and two young boys, ensuring the strong-silent gene will be passed down to the next generation.

There is nothing quite like having a Master Cabinetmaker in-house to make a renovation team complete. Tobias fills this role brilliantly, bringing his expertise to LD&A’s proverbial table since 2010. His impeccable attention to detail is unmatched.... which is a great quality to possess when you’re dealing with life one 64th of an inch at a time! When not crafting cabinets or one-of-a-kind furniture creations, Tobias can be found reading, biking, or hiking, and spending time with his fabulous wife and two children, whom he expresses he could not live without. His passions extend to health, the environment, and homemade pasta (we couldn’t agree with you more, Tobias!). He has “​blessed the rains down in Africa”, ​ which just happens to be his favourite place in the world of all the places he has traveled.

How do we find the ways to describe how lucky we are to have Shane on our team? His enthusiasm for his work, willingness to learn, and perpetual smile never fail to brighten our days! A born and raised Calgarian, Shane enjoys watching general sports (though the Flames are of course at the top of his list), enjoying a good movie, and having quiet nights at home with his lovely girlfriend.
