The Main House was dreamt up as a three-level, combined custom and IKEA cabinetry interior, complete with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a home gym and office, and an open concept kitchen and dining space at its heart.

A mere stone’s throw from the Main House of our Richmond project is the accompanying “sister” (both in a literal and figurative sense) house, the Laneway Suite. Just as sisters of the human variety share some traits while remaining beautifully individualistic, so was the way with their family homes.

LD&A built out a 6000 sf medical clinic for us at Innovative Sport Medicine. It was a complex renovation in an old building with lots of building restrictions. They handled all of the challenges and our clinic is absolutely beautiful, better than I could have imagined. They have a high attention to detail, came in right on budget, right on schedule, with timely communication. They have a really friendly team - everyone in design, trades, and their accounting department. I highly recommended LD&A for any residential or commercial project you may have. If you are looking for a renovation company, I can honestly and wholeheartedly recommend LDA. They took extensive care in the design and planning process. When they completed the actual construction and renovation, I actually got what I wanted as they also did much of the construction or oversaw the entire process. LDA is committed to the highest quality throughout the process--each trade is very careful, considerate and takes pride in their work.

We have hired LD&A twice for projects in our home. The first was a bathroom reno in our 1912 home. Everyone we worked with from design and project management to construction and sub-trades were experts, personable and had the utmost care for our project and our home. We had them back to complete a full basement reno/finishing for our old home which had lots of challenges given the age of our home and layers of "Mr Fixit" over a century to contend with and cleanup. They were never afraid to tackle the issues and ensure our home was beautiful but also safe and have the best construction behind the walls. There has been attention to every detail and the result is a beautiful, bright, and functional space we spend lots of time in. We are converted basement dwellers who never thought we’d use our basement beyond a "kids area".

Project Manager and on-site Supervisor were accessible, knowledgeable, understanding, and pro-active. The trades they hired were excellent - workmanship was first-rate, particularly the carpentry. Small "hiccups" during the process were dealt with quickly and professionally.
Would I use LD&A again? In a heartbeat. Would I recommend them? Absolutely.

This is our second extensive renovation with LD&A. It was once again a pleasure to work with the entire team. From design to construction and completion, our project was executed perfectly. The design team was creative and innovative. They paid attention to our ideas and came up with both a beautiful and functional space. They were patient and always available to us. We couldn’t be happier with the design and appreciate the effort that went into it. The construction team was a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail and unwillingness to compromise quality or take shortcuts ensure every corner of our home is perfect. In addition, they maintain a tidy work site at all times. They are genuinely kind people who took the time to chat with our kids and say hello to our dog. Their communication skills are superb and we were kept informed throughout the project. The design and construction team work seamlessly together to ensure the project is executed correctly. We would highly recommend LD&A and would use again... although they have pretty much done our whole house already!

We would 100% recommend LD&A to first-time renovators. Our project was fairly daunting and LD&A provided the design, construction and finishing expertise that we needed to produce the main floor of our dreams! With all services in-house, it was comforting to know that we weren’t going to get a plan that couldn’t be executed. Most important to us was that LD&A was a partner in the project and was extremely supportive of us chipping in where we could to save costs. 10/10 experience.

I found out about LDA by word of mouth. They renovated our basement shortly after purchasing our new house. This included making the bedroom windows bigger, a bathroom, laundry room and family room. They were very precise financially, chronologically and in the product delivered. Their ability to adapt to unforeseen problems (not that there were many) and accommodate customers was most impressive. Their integrity and professionalism is top notch. LDA are genuinely interested in doing the highest quality work and are visibly proud of what they complete. This is especially true in how they stand by their projects. We are very happy with our new space and highly recommend LDA to others. They may have not been the lowest estimate, but definitely delivered the highest quality renovation.
